Academic and scientific cooperation and capacity of aggregation have been important features of the PPGH for many years. More recently, it can be highlighted the following initiatives:
- an Interinstitutional Master's (Minter/CAPES) with the Regional University of Cariri (URCA), whose activities began in 2014 and follow on course;
- an Interinstitutional PhD (Dinter/CAPES) with the Federal University of the South and Southeast of Pará (UNIFESSPA), which was approved in 2015 and, due to bureaucratic reasons, had his start pushed back to 2017;
- activities of the Procad/ Casadinho with the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) in 2012-2016 period.
